Stone Documentation
Capture each gemstone with mineral specs, hardness ratings, cut style, and custom notes — a clean record for every project on your bench.
A dedicated workspace for lapidaries and gem cutters — document every stone, plan every stage, and turn hard-won technique into a process you can repeat.
PollyJolly turns scattered notes and muscle memory into a structured, repeatable workflow — from the first evaluation of rough material to the final brilliance report.
Capture each gemstone with mineral specs, hardness ratings, cut style, and custom notes — a clean record for every project on your bench.
Lay out polishing sequences stage by stage and log operational parameters — pressure, RPM, and duration — exactly as you run them.
Build polishing recipes tuned to each material and finish, then pull them up again whenever the same stone lands on your wheel.
A comprehensive reference of materials and their behavior, ready to inform every cut, grind, and polish decision you make.
Evaluate risk before you commit and score finished results — so quality stops being luck and starts being a number you can track.
Review completed projects, compare techniques, and grow a personal knowledge base from your own workshop history — all stored offline.
Drag through the eight working stages a real lapidary moves through. Watch the gem gain clarity and fire while the suggested grit, RPM, and pressure update — the same logic PollyJolly uses to structure your projects.
Raw, uncut stone fresh from the bag. Evaluate orientation, inclusions, and grain before a single cut is made.
We're a small group of makers and software builders who grew up around grinding wheels, diamond laps, and the quiet satisfaction of finishing a stone well. PollyJolly is for the people who do that work — lapidaries, faceters, cabbers, and polishing professionals.
We want to give the bench a memory. Too much hard-won technique lives in scattered notebooks and the back of someone's mind. We built one dependable place where every stone, stage, and parameter is recorded — so good results become repeatable.
Document stones with specs, hardness, and cut styles; plan multi-stage processes; refine reusable recipes; and lean on a materials library, timelines, risk checks, and quality scoring. Analytics and case studies let you compare techniques and learn from your own bench — all offline and fully yours.
Precision, consistency, and continuous improvement aren't slogans here — they're the whole point. Every project you log makes the next one sharper, faster, and more certain.
Rough in, brilliance out — every step worth remembering.
PollyJolly is built on one simple promise: the app does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Everything you create lives on your own device. There are no accounts, no servers of ours, and nothing leaves your phone unless you choose to export it yourself.
We collect nothing. PollyJolly has no sign-up, no login, and no user profiles. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location, and we gather no usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or device fingerprints. The gemstone projects, mineral specifications, hardness ratings, cut styles, notes, polishing stages, operational parameters (pressure, RPM, duration), recipes, materials-library entries, timelines, risk evaluations, quality scores, and case studies you enter all stay on your device and never reach us.
Because we never receive your information, we cannot and do not use it. We do not read, analyze, profile, mine, share, rent, or sell anything you record. Every feature — project documentation, recipe building, analytics, scoring, and history — runs entirely on-device, processing your data locally for your eyes only.
All of your content is stored locally in the app's private storage on your own device. There is no cloud component, no remote database, and no background syncing. We do not keep copies of your projects, and nothing is uploaded to us or to any third party.
PollyJolly includes no third-party analytics, no advertising networks, no trackers, and no embedded marketing or data-collection SDKs. We have no relationships that would give an outside company access to your workshop data, because there is no data flowing outward to share.
Keeping data on the device is itself the strongest privacy measure: information that is never transmitted cannot be intercepted in transit or exposed in a server breach. Your records are protected by your device's own safeguards — passcode, biometrics, and app sandboxing. We recommend keeping your device updated and secured for an added layer of protection.
PollyJolly does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the app gathers no data from any user whatsoever, it is inherently aligned with the spirit of COPPA and similar child-privacy regulations.
You hold complete ownership of everything you create. You can edit or delete individual projects, recipes, and records at any time inside the app. Because we keep no backups and no accounts, deleting the app removes all associated data from your device permanently — there is nothing left on a server for us to retain or recover.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect improvements to the app or changes in legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above. Our core principle will not change: PollyJolly remains a fully local, no-collection tool.
